Autohuna, a domain acquired by me back in December 1996, was set to promote life, healthy living, natural spontaneous spirituality, the acceptance of all our emotions and desires, and the intrinsic joy of life that comes with a non-judgmental and open mindset. Autohuna is based upon an integrated worldview, which is a worldview that is free of the split paradigm that pervades modern culture.
This was the first site that was created for the purpose of Sirius-C Media Galaxy, which I created in April 1998. The original meaning of Autohuna is a friendship day celebrated among the Tsalagi (Cherokee) nation in North America. This day is spent in prayers, dance, forgiveness and purification and an active revival of existing friendships, as well as the opportunity for forming new friendships.
In this term is contained the term Huna which is the wisdom religion from Hawaii, that has mingled, as we know from proven sources, with the native wisdom of the Tsalagi (Cherokee) nation in North America that has created the Autohuna festival. Thus, Autohuna means something like do Huna with yourself, or, translated into Western psychological language, be a true friend of yourself and apply the essence of love to yourself, in the sense of being tolerant with yourself, to have latitude with your weaknesses, and to do your evolution in little steps, one at a time. It means to develop true humanity! And this is really what I am saying in Life Authoring, my personal coaching technique.
Let me ask you further. What is a god? It is a symbol for yourself, for your inner powers. Do you need a god concept for being happy? Ask yourself why, and get beyond that kind of conditioning. It’s the same like Italians are conditioned to eating Pasta and Pizza, French to eat Crêpes Suzette, and Germans to eat Sauerkraut. God is a three-letter word, don’t forget that. You have been taught to avoid three-letter words, haven’t you?
The Kahunas say that a male God cannot exist without a female God, thus there must inevitably be a God Couple. They also call it our Heavenly Parents. When you address your prayers to a male-only God, you deny the yin part in yourself and in the universe, and you then deny half of life. Instead, when you address your prayers to a God Couple, you show that you respect the whole of creation, not just the yang part of it, and the result will be that your life shall be fuller, more harmonious, and more happy.
What is food? It is a symbol for the cosmic life energy, the breath. This breath is in all food, it’s the flowing cosmic energy. When you eat the right food, you may be ill occasionally, like children have their little ailments, once in a while, but you will not contract major lifestyle diseases such as cancer, aids or heart disease, because your immunitary response will be perfect. This is the original meaning of food in all tribal cultures and in all real civilizations such as China or India, where food always was considered as the primal medicine.
And this medicine is preventive in the first place, which means that when you eat right, you will basically stay healthy. A truth that is almost totally forgotten today in postmodern international consumer culture that has grown from this residual and spiritually ignorant life paradigm and that in our days spreads, like a virus, all over the world and that is nothing but a modern vintage of the patriarchal rut.
